In the past year FCSTV interns have had several insightful professional and hands-on experiences. Interns were exposed to the behind-the-scenes aspects of television stations, worked with top production students from around the county, and received hands-on experience producing professional videos. They met and worked with influential guest speakers from the industry and attended video workshops. Previous interns had the opportunity to visit and talk to professionals at NBC, SCAD, Clayton State film program, Turner Studios, WSBTV, AJC, NPR, and GPB. Further, they gained professional experience by assisting in filming the mayor of Union City in our studio. Interns also had the chance to work on professional, paid videos for the Fulton County Schools’ T.V channel and website, giving them insight on every aspect of video production, from preproduction to post production. In addition to all these experiences, interns this year will have the unique opportunity to take part in an extensive film program at Atlanta Metro Studios, allowing them to meet and work with professionals in the industry. 

     These unique experiences will foster their interest in all aspects of video production from broadcast journalism to live production to film. FCSTV is dedicated to helping passionate students develop their love for film and video production by giving them real exposure to the industry. By exposing them to these opportunities, FCSTV hopes to prepare students for their future careers, while promoting their passion for media.
